Editorial Policy
How we create and stand behind our content.
MoneyDock exists to help Indian investors make clearer money decisions. Everything we publish is held to three standards: accuracy, independence, and transparency. This page explains how our content is made and reviewed.
Accuracy & data sources
Our market data comes from official, primary sources — stock prices from the NSE daily Bhavcopy, mutual fund NAVs from AMFI, and indicative metal rates derived from international spot prices. Our calculators use standard, published financial formulas. Details are on our methodology page.
How our content is created
MoneyDock is an independent, solo-run project. The calculators, live data pipelines and methodology are built and maintained directly by our founder. Our market news and explainers are researched from reputable financial sources; like many modern publishers, we use software tools — including AI — to help prepare first drafts. We take full responsibility for what we publish and aim for genuinely useful, factual content rather than publishing for volume. Any data that is indicative or delayed is clearly labelled.
How we make money & stay independent
MoneyDock is free to use. We earn through advertising (including Google AdSense) and may include affiliate links or clearly-labelled sponsored content, where we can earn a commission at no extra cost to you. These commercial relationships never influence our market data, calculator results, or rankings — those come only from official sources (NSE, AMFI) and standard financial formulas. MoneyDock is not a broker, distributor, or investment adviser, and earns no commission on your actual investments.
Not financial advice
MoneyDock provides information and tools, not personalised investment advice. We are not SEBI-registered investment advisers. Mutual fund and market investments carry risk; please consult a qualified, registered adviser and read all scheme documents before investing.
